NIJ level 4 ballistic plate - Single curved, 30x25, B-Line
This is our NIJ level 4 ballistic plate in single curve, which is the strongest stand-alone (SA) plate we sell. This ballistic plate requires no soft armor and is made in SAPI cut, which gives you more mobility to move your arms forward. The ballistic plate is in the size 30x25cm (12x10 inches) and therefore fits in all plate carriers.
Economical and stable solution
To develop an extremely strong plate we have used AL203 Ceramic and Polyethylene, giving a weight of only 3.15 kilos. AL203 ceramic is known to be a economical and very stable solution as AL203 ceramic is extremely strong.
The ballistic plate is tested according to NIJ standard 0101.06 with a single shot from a 7.62x63 M2 AP (Armor piercing), and stops up to 6 bullets from 7.62x51 NATO, 7.62x39 MSC (AK47) and 5.56 (SS109/M855). The advantage of a level 4 trauma plate is that it stops Armor Piercing bullets, which a ballistic plate made in steel or 100% PE won’t be able to stop. Furthermore a ceramic plate won’t have any spall from the ballistic impact.
The ballistic plate has a thin layer of protective foam so that the ceramic is protected against impact if the plate is dropped.
The ballistic plate is made in our new "heat sealed" water resistant cover, which keeps water, oil and other liquids away from the ballistic plate without damaging the ballistic properties.
